Annual Sale a Big Hit

Siam Paragon's Hall of Fame hosted Raimon Land's largest sale of the year from September 30 to October 2 where attendees eagerly snapped up key properties at The River, 185 Rajadamri, Pattaya's Zire Wongamat and recently completed Northpoint.
Lucky customers at the sale were awarded with newly released units, as well as exclusive offers and the largest cash discounts of the year on every project, all under one roof.

Raimon Land reports on H1 2011 financial results

On Wednesday, September 7th, Raimon Land held morning and afternoon press conferences for Journalists and analysts, respectively, to report on and field questions about the Company's first half results of 2011.
Raimon Land revealed that total secured sales backlog at the end of June 2011 reached Bt 15.2 billion, of which around two-thirds related to sales at The River project in Bangkok. While the total sales value of all the Company's current four projects amounted to about Bt 32.3 billion, of which only Bt 3.4 billion has been recognized as sales in the Company's financial statements, and of which about Bt 8.9 billion has been received in cash to date.
At the same time, the company highlighted industry wide accounting rule changes that do not allow developers to post revenues until handover and they also spoke about Raimon Land's new strategy of launching one or two new projects per year with Pattaya as the ideal platform to launch the company's new hip brand. The company expects to launch its new brand in Pattaya in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Raimon Land and Citigold present Condo Focus and wealth management seminar

On Thursday September 15, 2011, Raimon Land and Citigold delivered a complimentary seminar on wealth management techniques and the Thai real estate sector at The Grand Hyatt Erawan Ballroom.
Citigold's Investment Consultant Boonnisaed Thanyawora-anan, began the afternoon with the presentation "Introduction of Wealth Management" which highlighted various modern investment trends and planning available to both Thai and foreign customers including world economy and inflation updates, first time investing, building a portfolio as well as techniques to protect income and assets.
Later that afternoon, Simon Derville, Raimon Land's Deputy Vice President of Business Development presented on the 10th edition of Condominium Focus magazine which revealed that investor confidence in Thai real estate remained strong despite rising construction and lending costs for homebuyers. This was due mainly to a strong pipeline of upcoming new projects, rising consumer confidence and a more stable political situation.

Bangkok International Couture Fashion Week 2011 (BICFW 2011)

From October 7-8, 2011, Raimon Land was an official sponsor of the Bangkok International Couture Fashion Week 2011 (BICFW 2011), Thailand's first true couture fashion week. The event, held at "The River Promenade" along the romantic Chao Phraya River, one of Bangkok's historic icons, generated great interest and helped put Bangkok, as well as Thailand's fashion talents on the map.
Five top designer brands came together for the BICFW 2011 showcases for the Fall/Winter season including Somchai Kaewthong of Kai Boutique and K&I; Sirichai Daharanont of Theatre; Pichita Boonyarataphan of Pichita; and Chamnan Pakdeesuk of Flynow. Each designer created a unique couture collection, with one-of-a-kind pieces.

185 Rajadamri Construction Update

Project progress in September continued according to programme.
Temporary enabling works comprising steel working platforms and multi-level substructure bracing to protect surrounding site from subsidence and to facilitate the excavation works is complete. Contractor commenced the pile cut off and pile cap construction and the installation steel reinforcement for Zone 1 RC Mat foundation is complete but concrete pour is currently delayed due to inclement weather.
Procurement Contract for steel reinforcement has been awarded for commencement of progressive delivery with immediate effect. The procurement contracts for Façade & Curtain Wall and the Passenger Lifts been awarded, commencement of design coordination exercise is ongoing. The supply contract for concrete has been awarded and the batching plant will be installed as soon as the mat foundation is complete.

The River Construction Update

Both the South and North Tower's structure has been completed; the structural steelworks for the building crown is complete and glazing has commenced. Progress Tower A Glass Curtain Walls installation 96%; Window Wall system 95%; Balustrades 92%. Progress Tower B Glass Curtain Walls installation 99.8%; Window Wall system 95%; Balustrades 99.5%.
Critical Path works of Architectural trades, MEP and finishing trades is intense with Architectural works, including unit partition walls, masonry and plastering reaching Level 71 of Tower A and have been completed in Tower B. Internal ceiling works in corridors has reached Level 43. First fix Mechanical (fire, sanitary and MVAC systems) and Electrical services are ongoing up to Level 64 Tower A and Level 41 Tower B. Subsequent trade activities for the M&E 2nd fix trades activities is progressing to allow the commencement of ceiling closures. Testing of Mock-Up Suites MVAC systems is complete and the installations are ow progressing in the residential Units.
Contracts have now been awarded for the Main Lobbies fit-out, Gymnasiums, Sky Garden works. Delivery schedules of domestic appliances have been agreed and the appliances are being prepared for delivery. Civil and External Works on roads, boundary fence and drainage are progressing. Car Park/Podium cladding has been approved and is being installed. Principal Utility connections and incoming services should be completed by 30th September 2011.

VUE Construction Update

The basement works are 100% complete including the car access/egress ramp. The main M&E plant rooms, waste water treatment, water storage tanks are all complete with M&E works in progress. Basement masonry walls and architectural works are 90% complete with M&E works 50% complete.
The superstructure ground, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor slabs and columns are complete and the structural steel roof framing is on site with installation commencing the 4th week September. Concrete block walls are advanced on ground, 2nd and 3rd floors with associated architectural trades following.
Aluminium windows and shop fronts are under fabrication with installation commencing in the basement and ground floor the 4th week September. Lift contract is awarded and delivery is due in October 2011.
Authority applications for utility services are in progress.
External works comprising hardscape finishes, parking, traffic circulation, water features and security are under construction. Softscape planting has been awarded and will be installed in September.
The Vue construction Contract was awarded mid December 2010 with completion planned 10 months later at end of October 2011.
