The River

Structural progress up to the end of December continued according to programme with allowances for the New Year holiday.

The South Tower's slip form core structure has topped out at Level 71, with the floor slab at Level 69; while the North Tower's structure was topped out at level 43 in October 2010 and remaining works on the Crown have been substantially completed. The overall podium structural progress (podium A, B and C) is 99.88% finished, Cooling Towers now complete. Hardscape works on Level 5 Podium Deck are about to be awarded. South Tower Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached Level 48 and Window Wall system has reached Level39; North Tower Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached Level 34 and Window Wall system has reached Level 29 in Tower B. In both Towers installation of glass balustrades has been commensurate with Curtain Wall installation.

The first trail Mock-up Kitchens have been delivered to site for the purposes of design inspection and QA/QC investigation/approval before the final approval of shop drawings and commencement of manufacture. Test installations of Residential Levels Lift Lobby have begun to test coordination and QA/QC of architectural finishes.
