The River

Structural progress up to the end of January continued according to programme.

The South Tower's structure has topped out at Level 71, with the final floor slab formwork and reinforcement substantially completed; while the North Tower's structure was topped out at level 43 in October 2010 and remaining works on the Crown are ongoing. Hardscape and Softscape works on Level 5 Podium Deck are about to commence. South Tower Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached Level 52 and Window Wall system has reached Level 40; North Tower Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached Level 34 and Window Wall system has reached Level 30 at the North Tower.

Critical Path works of Architectural trades, MEP and finishing trades is now intensifying with Architectural works, including unit partition walls, masonry and plastering, have reached up to Level 60 South Tower; Level 41 North Tower and works are proceeding. Internal Ceiling works to corridors, Lift Lobbies, Unit Bathrooms and wall/floor tiling are commencing. Main MEP Plant including transformers, Stand-By Generators and Main Distribution Boards are now on site awaiting installation. Regular programmed deliveries of sanitary appliances, fan coil units and condenser units are being received. Stocks of floor and wall tiles are now on site.

"Vue" & Temporary Change of Access to The River Promenade

Please be informed that due to the commencement of the construction of "Vue", The River's retail and commercial project, the entrance to The River sales office has subsequently been temporarily modified and for the time being, access is available exclusively via Soi Charoennakorn 13.

The River's free shuttle boat service remains available from Saphan Taksin BTS station and pickup can be arranged by calling our sales office at 02-861-1971 prior to your arrival.

The contract to build "Vue" has recently been awarded to Bouygues-Thai Ltd. with a projected completion date of 22 October 2011. Eighty percent of the piling to the basement has been done previously and additional piling, temporary works including soil protection, excavation and basement structure programmed to finish by the beginning of June 2011. Demolition of existing RC slabs has commenced along with piling support for tower crane.
