Raimon Land Awards 185 Rajadamri Construction Contract to Bouygues Thai

Raimon Land has announced that it is awarding the overall building contract for 185 Rajadamri, Bangkok's most exclusive residential address, to Bouygues Thai Ltd., the local subsidiary of leading conglomerate Bouygues. This follows a competitive tender process among the most reputed construction companies that are today shaping Bangkok's skyline.

Under the terms of the contract, valued at approximately THB 2.4 billion, Bouygues Thai will be responsible for the sub-structure, the superstructure and the main building works, as well as the management of sub-contractors for mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations. Construction has commenced since 1 April 2011.

Zire Wongamat

Piling works are programmed to commence June 2011 once building permit has been issued. Tendering of the main building contracts will be run concurrent with the piling works.

Currently an advance works package comprising Beach Club, incorporating a show unit and sales office facilities, swimming pools and landscape beach frontage has been started on 18 March. Current progress is limited to piling works, substructure and drainage. The advance works are due to be completed by end of June 2011.

The River

Project progress up to the end of March continued according to programme.

The South Tower's structure has topped out at level 71 and is 98.3% complete, structural works are now commencing for the building crown; while the North Tower's structure was topped out at level 43 in October 2010. South Tower glass curtain walls installation has reached level 62, window wall system has reached level 50; North Tower glass curtain walls installation has reached level 35 and window wall system has reached level 32.

Critical path works of Architectural trades, MEP and finishing trades is now intensifying with architectural works, including unit partition walls, masonry and plastering, have reached up to level 65 at the South Tower; level 51 at the North Tower and works are proceeding. First fix mechanical (fire, sanitary and HVAC systems) and electrical services are ongoing up to South Tower's level 55 and North Tower's level 47.

CTU (construction lifts) are have been commissioned and are operational for construction services.

Raimon Land refinances THB 5 billion and takes full ownership of The River

Raimon Land has successfully finalized negotiations with its bank syndicate, led by Tisco Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Siam City Bank, to provide a new facility of THB 5.48 billion to refinance the company's flagship project, The River.

The new loan along with Raimon Land's consolidation of its aggregate investment in The River from 84.85% to 99.85% is an indication of the continuously strong sales performance for the luxury riverfront condominium development. It also signifies the confidence Thailand's leading financial institutions have in the long-term future of the project.

Raimon Land Joins Habitat for Humanity Thailand in Rayong

On Friday 18 March 2011, Raimon Land employees took part in what turned out to be a laborious day out to help build houses for the underprivileged with Habitat for Humanity Thailand.

Volunteers arrived at Ban Chang, Rayong and everyone got straight to work after a brief orientation session from the Habitat for Humanity Thailand representatives. Some of the tasks carried out in the building of the houses for Khun Thitiwan and Khun Jantree included foundation laying followed by cement mixing and pouring.
