Northpoint Once Again Triumphs at Thailand Property Awards

The virtually completed Northpoint project on Wongamat Beach, Pattaya has once again been recognized as Best Condo Development (Eastern Seaboard) at the recently held Thailand Property Awards 2010 having previously won this prestigious award back in 2008. The judges were impressed with the very well-designed and highly professional project coupled with its superb location and outstanding views.

The River website (www.theriverbangkok.com) also joins Northpoint as a two-time winner after winning Best Development Website at the 2010 ceremony for its speed, ease of use, wide range of features and attractive design.

The River

Raimon Land recently held a topping-off ceremony for the north tower of The River to mark an important milestone in the construction of Bangkok's newest landmark in the heart of the city's 5-star neighbourhood. The core structure of the North Tower is now complete at 42 storeys while the South Tower's structure has reached level 66, out of 72, and is expected to be completed in January 2011.

Despite heavy rains in Bangkok in early-October, progress at The River continues to progress at one floor per week as the capital welcomes its first glimpse of winter. North Tower mechanical services and the "crown" structures are progressing. The overall podium structural progress (podium A, B and C) is 99.48% finished with Cooling Towers now complete. Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached level 39 and Window Wall system has reached level 30 at the South Tower; Glass Curtain Walls installation has reached level 30 and Window Wall system has reached level 22 at the North Tower.

Northpoint Home Owners Sundowners

To welcome residents of Northpoint, Raimon Land hosted a Home Owners Sundowners event on the Saturday of October's long weekend break.

Held at the swimming pool area at the virtually completed development along Wongamat Beach, guests were greeted and welcomed by the Northpoint and Savills teams while enjoying light snacks, drinks, entertainment as well as the spectacular sunset over the Gulf of Thailand.

Raimon Land brand ambassador Thongchai Jaidee participated in The World Golf Salutes King Bhumibol at Amata Spring Country Club along with three world-class golfers including Tiger Woods, Paul Casey and Camilo Villegas to celebrate His Majesty the King's birthday and 60th year of his accession.
