The River Update

The River continued to progress at one floor per week per tower through the month of March despite the political events in Bangkok. New consignments of imported glass will enable further progress on the installation of the Curtain Walls and Window Walls to both Towers.

The construction remain on programme and will not be adversely effected by Songkran holidays. The South Tower's core structure has reached level 36 with the floor slab at level 31 while the North Tower's core structure is now at level 28. Construction of the Private Residents Club swimming pool on the 23rd floor at the North Tower has commenced. The common area podium is also progressing well with work on the fifth floor and final floor underway.

Installation of unit partition walls at the South Tower has reached level 19. First fix Mechanical (fire, sanitary and HVAC systems)and Electrical and services are progressing. Elsewhere on site, the retention tank behind both towers is close to completion with the final phase of concrete pouring now ongoing.

Substantial shipments of the imported floor and wall tiles have been received on site and are awaiting installation.

Northpoint Update

Through March 2010 construction works at the Northpoint site continued towards completion. The final commissioning and testing of mechanical and central services and hand over to the Facilities Management has commenced. Raimon Land project team and CRM staff have been established within office facilities. Phased home owner inspections are continuing and ownership transfers are underway.

Internally apartment fit-out works are continuing up the buildings towards completion. The external flat and textured decorative paint applications are now complete. The lift car fit-out works are now in process at both towers.

Tree planting and landscaping works to all remaining areas of the 12-rai site are continuing. The main entrance guard house and site boundary wall construction works are in process. Final development of remaining water features is under completion and will be commissioned before Songkran. Main entrance drop-off canopies are being completed.

At the car park building roof-top, tennis court mesh boundary fencing installations are nearing completion. The car park building painting works are now complete as are the wire mesh and planter box façade installations. All temporary site offices of the various contractors are being relocated from car park building to an adjacent site. Access and security control systems are being installed at main entrance and car park.

KBank Mortgages for Thais

KASIKORNBANK has joined with Raimon Land to offer fixed rate K-Home Loan packages with special interest rates as an attractive alternative for Raimon Land customers.

Three exclusive packages include a fixed rate at 1.25 percent in the first year of the mortgage; a fixed rate of 3.50 percent for the first two years, or a fixed rate at 4.25 percent for the first three years.

Three other special floating rate packages include a special floating rate of MLR-3.50% in the first year; or a floating rate of MLR-1.50% for the first 2 years; and finally, a rate of MLR-1.00% in the first 3 years. Subsequently, customers will be charged the MLR-0.75% for the remainder of the mortgage contract. This offer is valid until 30 June 2010.
