Construction Update
Construction at Raimon Land's ongoing projects continues on schedule as 2009 gets underway.
Bangkok: The River

In Bangkok, construction at The River is on course to begin the planned transfer of South Tower units from level 7 and above by the end of 2011. The basement excavation has been successfully completed with the walls currently under construction. We have taken the step to directly purchase the steel re-bar for structural work. The first delivery is in February totaling 5,400 tons or approximately 30% of total requirement, at a cost of THB200 million. Bouygues-Thai, which was awarded the superstructure contract, has commenced intersection work above the substructure.

Phuket: The Heights Phuket

The Heights Phuket has been welcoming a steady stream of transfers with owners adding final individual decorating touches to their units. Our onsite Customer Relations Team has been assisting with requirements for handover including TV and internet subscriptions, mailbox allocation, furniture company co-ordination, pest control and gardening. The security entrance guardhouse and boom gate are now fully operational and manned 24-hours a day, the covered car park is complete, as is the landscaping to the upper part of zone three.
The two-bedroom show suite (type B) for The Heights Phuket Hospitality Programme has been fitted out allowing co-owners to view a completed unit as it would be set up for rental, with everything from linens, electrics, crockery, cutlery and furniture included.
