The River Construction Update

As we enter the month of August, construction of The River continues to make good progress.

The cores of both towers are now between levels 5 and 6 and are gradually becoming a prominent feature of the surrounding area. The huge third floor slabs of both the North and South Towers are complete and construction of the car park ramp has also reached level 3 to match. Elsewhere, the last remaining ground floor slab at the north perimeter of the site will be finished shortly, and the footpath with water features which will form the central walkway from the boat drop off area has had the structural elements installed.

Northpoint continues to make good progress in Pattaya. Underground drainage system installations are currently in process and the site clearance and piling works to the beachfront landscape area are complete, with pile casting for the main swimming pools complete and the reinforced concrete slabs being cast.

Elsewhere on site, the main entrance lobby areas are in the process of fit-out works with mezzanine floors and façade glazing being installed and the general lift lobby and corridor fit-out works progressing. Installation of the window and balcony sliding door system as well as the balcony glass balustrades is now substantially complete at both towers, whilst the electrical busduct installations are complete to the top levels with floor connections under progress and permanent power energized.
